Getting ready to buy from us?

We understand that sometimes shopping for technology can be a bit difficult, especially with all the terminology that we use to describe a product to you. This page will serve as a resource to help you understand the differences in our products and what it is you're exactly getting!

Differences Between "Refurbished" and "Renewed" Devices

As you may have noticed, we sell products that have been given new life by us in order to reduce waste and put comparable machines back into the hands of people. However, you may be confused by the labels that we give these machines in our store. Here, we will provide you with our definitions to help you understand them and make a more informed purchasing decision.

What does "Renewed" mean?

"Renewed" products are products that we have worked to bring the device back to as close to factory-like condition as possible by our certified technicians. This may include completely new parts and accessories, reskinning and cosmetic work, and testing to ensure the product meets its original qualifications.

What does "Refurbished" mean? Why do some products have letters in their name?

"Refurbished" products are products that we have worked to bring the device back to working order or a resell-able state. Refurbished products vary in quality and use our grading system to best represent the health of the unit. These grades are attached to the listing for your reference. If you would like more detail about these grades and what they mean, please click here to download our grade sheet!

For the quick and easy explanation: A represents like-new quality. F means that the unit is non-working and is for parts only.
